cell phone

I got a tri-band Asian cell phone today. And a SIM card. Tri-band. SIM card. These are all new concepts to me. Apparently US cell phones work on an entirely different system than the rest of the world. Did you know about this? Yet another thing that we insist on doing the most complicated way possible. The metric system. Base10. The Charlie Card for the love of god. (that's for my Boston peeps). Everyone else gets it. Why don't we?

Anyway. Call me. I'm in Asia.
